Umag is a coastal city on the Istrian peninsula of Croatia. It is the furthest town western of Croatia that is home to a multi-ethnic population. It a common tourist destination in Croatia due to its long Riviera that is about 20 kilometers long. It is an old town with attractive, narrow streets which are made of cobblestones that are worth strolling through. Umag is well known for its marina and international tennis center which hosts the Croatian Open every July. It has a long coastline of about 45 kilometers that has dazzling, clean beaches that are accentuated by various little bays that are a joy to explore.
