More about Rovinj

With a contrasting landscape of snowy peaks, steep cliffs and lush forest, the island of Cres is a stunning destination in eastern Istria. The main tourist attractions include Lake Vransko (a natural reservoir of rainwater) and different species of birds that make the island their home, such as eagles and owls. The island is not very inhabited and is not so famous on the tourist route, so you can find places where will be only you and the nature. It is a great destination for those who like to enjoy their own company in an exuberant place. The center is where you will find different bars, restaurants and hotel. Also from there you can get transport to the other villages on the island. In the southwest of the island, a few kilometers south of Cres, there are beautiful beaches to enjoy the sunset. A good way to explore the hidden spots in the island is to rent a car and drive with no direction.
