Rogoznica

Rogoznica is a town in Croatia that is located on the Dalmatian coast. It is a popular tourist village that is located on the southern part of the Šibenik-Knin County, approximately 30km from Šibenik. It is sheltered from wind by a deep bay and is populated majorly by Croats. The quiet Mediterranean town is linked to the mainland by a man-made mound that was built in the second half of the 19th century. A large portion of the island is covered by forests while the area that people have settled is characterized by old stone houses mirroring the soul of the old Mediterranean. The town is known as a standout amongst the most excellent and most secure ports, which is the reason boaters relish the chance to visit. Local people participate in cultivating, tourism and fishing.
