What Njivice offers
The main feature of Njivice is its beaches. There are two pebbly beaches in the centre of the town, and both of them are partly paved so you can enjoy both swimming and sunbathing. The beaches are proud owners of The Blue Flag. For those looking for some privacy, a number of small bays accompanied by rocks and caves can be found around the city. At the end of town beaches, you can find a beautiful promenade perfect for romantic walks during sunset. The promenade is over a kilometre long, surrounded by pine trees and right next to the sea. The centre of happening is the centre of the town. Besides the small port, you can find many restaurants, cafes, and pastry shops. There is a number of different sport and fun events happen every year, especially during vacation periods. Some of them are the Firework Rhapsody, Adria spring trail and theme days of Njivice resort. The klapa performance or folklore festivals are a great way to learn and see the island’s tradition. During summer gallery of the town hosts the exhibitions of renowned artists.
Where to stay
There are two hotels in the town, Jadran and Beli kamik, both north from the port and centre. Apartment accommodation in family houses are available, and hosts try their best to make you feel like at home. Njivice is also known for its Campsite Njivice, one of the biggest auto camps in Croatia. The Campsite has a beach, children's playgrounds, mobile homes, and contemporary sanitary facilities. The centre of the town is connected with the campsite by a promenade.
