In addition to the Krka national park, Skradin is about 5 kilometers from the camp. The Kornati national park is 35 kilometers and Sibenik only 12 kilometers away. This proximity makes it easier for tourists to visit the different places without much struggle. There are five main entrances to the park, this reduces congestion for those who are getting the park and gives the visitors options to choose between the entrances while still on the highway. From the entrance Lozovac you can drive to the ethno village inside of the park. This is also the closest entrance for visitors who want to go directly to island Visovac.
The national park Krka is a beautiful sight all year round and suitable for both the young and the old so when in Croatia it’s worthwhile spending a day or two visiting. A special feature for the summer is that you can swim at the lowest part of the waterfalls in the park because during this time the water is warm and clear. The park also offers a number of guided excursions such as boat trips to the island of Visovac, the Krka monastery and the Trosenj and Necven fortresses.
