More about Krka National Park
The Krka National Park has 7 waterfalls and many that are easily accessible and lead to beautiful landscapes. One of its great attractions is that you can bathe in it and enjoy the beautiful days of the Croatian summer.
To reach the central point, called skradinski buk, you have two options. The first is by river through the official boat available from April to October, from Skradin. Another option is the Lozovac entrance, with free parking for visitors. For those who are even more willing there is the alternative of a trail parallel to the riverbed, (which can be done on foot or by bicycle) that connects the city of Skradin to the park's entrance gate (skradinski buk), with about 4 kilometers.
For those who have more time, there are also other less crowded and more remote attractions in the park. A guided tour to the island of Visovac, located in the lake of Visovac, where it is possible to visit a Franciscan monastery and the church. In addition to this option, there is also the option of visiting the Roski Slap waterfall, further away from the central point of the park. You can also hire a boat trip in the park, leaving from skradinski buk, lasting 4 hours, which takes you to the the Island of Visovac and Roski Slap.
