Many people visit Bol, in the Island of Brac, during the summer – from June to September- due to its beautiful beaches. The most famous beach is Zlatni Rat, one of the few beaches with sand in Croatia. It has a breathtaking blue water that looks even more amazing when viewed from above. Bol has a good structure to receive the tourists who are looking for beautiful beaches, good hotels, bars and restaurants. Bol it’s also known for its historic city. Surrounded by the Adriatic Sea with a breathtaking blue water, Bol is located in the Brac Island and it is famous due to the beautiful beach called Zlatni Rat. The beach is about 2km from the charming city center and can be accessed by foot. Along the way you will notice many hotels, resorts, bars and restaurants which are prepared all year round for the tourist in high season, from June to September, but mainly in July and August.
You can spend the whole day relaxing on the beach, enjoy the sunset and at night walk through the historic city center. There are different spots from many years ago which are very important for Croatia’s history such as a 19th century Dominican monastery and the Branislav Deskovicn art gallery. Also, it’s worth to go up to the mountains and view the whole city from above!
